My kids love Halloween! I'm sure it's because they love to dress up and love to eat candy, but whatever it is this is a much anticipated day in our house. They count down the days until they get to wear their costumes! The night before Halloween, we were tucking Parker into bed and she said "I can't believe Halloween is tomorrow! I'm just not ready for this!" The anticipation was too much. It was hilarious!
Parker the cowgirl and Hayes the shark!
Hayes was trying to "swim" on the skateboard!
I love this little guy!!
She was so proud! She picked out all of her fabrics for her costume and then her BG and I made it.
GG and Papaw with the kiddos.
And they're off! What a beautiful night for a little trick or treating!
I mean, how cute is that little tail fin!
Hope you all had a happy Halloween!

{Annual Pumpkin Carving}
Every year (well, the past 2 years) we get together with my family to let all the kids carve pumpkins. It's such a fun time! The kids are finally getting old enough to be trusted with knives...wait, is that a good thing or bad thing?
Here are some of the fun times from our pumpkin carving extravaganza!
Is that a face of enjoyment or disgust? Parker does not mind getting dirty at all! That's what I love about that girl!
Hayes jumped right in there and dug out all the seed and goop!
My sister's baby Dylan is precious! She was enjoying a little snack. :)
Hayes inspecting Caden as he was carefully wielding a knife.
Daddy was helping Parker. I won't touch on all the major knife violations in this picture. Look away!
Grandad and Rylie...Cheese!
I love my Mimi! She's 91 and always in the middle of the party!
It was a beautiful day so we were able to be outside by the pool.
All the grandkids with their finished pumpkins!

{OU Aviation Festival}
Saturday we went to the Aviation festival at OU which is a family favorite. It's a time that even Zac and I enjoy and the weather could not have been more perfect! Zac has always been interested in planes and flying so this is a must go to event for us! This year we brought my parents along with us.
Hayes and Parker and BG checking out a plane.
Hayes was thrilled to be able to sit in the helicopter!
The fire truck is always a hit!
Fun times at the airport!!

{Cleveland County Fair}
We love the Fair at our house! I use the term "We" loosely because I'm pretty sure my hubby would exclude himself from that statement. But anytime you can go to the fairgrounds and see the farm animals, we are in!
It was a great Saturday out at the Fair and we can't wait to go back next year!

We petted every animal that we could pet!
And looked at all the blue ribbon animals!
Hayes being silly as usual. I promise I don't have a picture of this kids with a serious face!
Parker riding in the barrels that are pulled behind a tractor. I'm sure this is safe, right?
